Welcome to the Festive Season!

Eevee and the Eevee-lutions are here to celebrate all things Terastal in the brand-new Terastal Festival released in Japan on December 6, 2024. The traditional "high-class pack" set that marks the holidays every year this time features each of the different Eevee-lutions as a Stellar Tera Pokémon. They aren't just highly playable but also a collector's dream with a regular and an alternate art each!

It all starts with Eevee and its new ex variant. Eevee ex is the perfect addition to an Eevee deck with all of its fantastic evolutions. Typically, ex Pokémon don't evolve any further than their ex forms, but this one can evolve into any ex Pokémon that would normally evolve from Eevee. Having the benefits of being an ex also means a huge 200 HP, something to boast about the usual one-prize Eevees.

More Eevee

Flareon ex is a fantastic set-up Pokémon with an attack that lets you accelerate two Energy from your deck to one of your Pokémon. This is particularly useful as all Stellar Tera Pokémon have some quirky Energy costs for their second attacks. Vaporeon ex is next, featuring an attack that deals 60 damage to each of your opponent's ex Pokémon. This is unfortunately blocked by other Tera ex Pokémon but can definitely set up some bench sitters like Fezandipiti ex, Squawkabilly ex, and Mew ex. Finally, Jolteon ex can be used to deal some great damage, dealing 60 damage plus up to 180 more based on how many Basic Energy you choose to discard from your benched Pokémon. And all three of the Kanto Eevee-lutions also have a second attack that deals 280 damage for a Fire, Water, and Lightning Energy, which is great for dealing with VSTAR Pokémon like Regidrago VSTAR or popular support Pokémon like Pidgeot ex.

Espeon ex has two great disruptive attacks, the first dealing 160 damage and discarding a random card from the opponent's hand. This can be paired with some great Supporters such as Eri or Xerosic's Machinations from other sets to cause the opponent some real issues. And its second attack shuffles each of the opponent's highest-stage Evolution Pokémon into their deck, which is like a Technical Machine: Devolution amped up to be even more frustrating! Finally, Umbreon ex has an attack that also deals 160 damage and confuses the opponent's Active Pokémon, another great disruptive tool. And its other attack simply takes a prize card provided you discard all the Energy attached to Umbreon ex. This may seem expensive, but taking a prize card regardless of the hand your opponent gives you or the board state your opponent has can be just what you need to win the game!

Even More

Terastal Festival also features Glaceon ex and Leafeon ex, as well as a reprint of Sylveon ex. Best of all, Eevee and all eight of its Eevee-lutions receive a beautiful illustration rare, each in a unique style for people to pine over when you get to show them off! Make sure you try and collect them all, along with the other stunning illustration rares in the set!
